Music Lineup for November 19

Hello, friends and family. Danny’s Celebration of Life is in less than 30 days, and I’m happy to announce the following amazing lineup of bands:

Legendary Denton funk band Beef Jerky, formed in 1992 with Danny on drums, will reunite in Danny’s honor for the first time in 15 years! The band lineup features five original members and three guest artists, including Scott “Scotty D” Davis (formerly of Mingo Fishtrap) on drums.

The Better Death, a Dallas-based experimental rock band that Danny played with from 2007 until he became ill, will take the stage to pay homage to Danny. They have a big surprise that you won’t want to miss!

Singer, songwriter, guitar player and guitar maker (check out Blevins Guitar Co.), and all-round great guy, Roger Blevins Jr. will fill our ears and hearts with his soulful sounds. As the Mingo Fishtrap frontman, Roger shared many stages with Danny “back in the day” when Beef Jerky and Mingo Fishtrap played shows together.
